Sunday School
The Sunday School was first introduced in the Church with the purpose of reaching individuals and communities with the message of salvation. Our task hasn’t changed since its beginning in 1906. We are still teaching the entirety of the inspired Word of God with the goal of making disciples for Christ. We want to bring men, women, boys and girls to the knowledge of Christ and the Church by building them up through the organized study of the Bible.
Sunday School is unique in that it enables each participant to live a more consistent and consecrated life to the Lord by delving in the Holy Scriptures weekly with both times of lecture and query. Of course, the Word of God is our main resource material, but we are happy to report that The Church of God prints our own Sunday School materials for the following basic age groups—Adult, Teen, Junior, Primary and Preschool. The Sunday School department strives to teach the whole message to the whole world.
Bible Training Institute
Bible Training Institute was established for the purpose of, and we are continually dedicated to, training men and women in the rightly-divided principles of the Word of God. The goal of Bible Training Institute is to establish Bible schools around the world to:
Equip workers with the knowledge of the doctrine taught by the Bible with the New Testament as our rule of faith and practice, government and discipline and the Old Testament as our schoolmaster;
Instruct students in the history of the Church as recorded in Holy Scripture and in practice today;
Provide biblical instruction in the proper way to conduct business in the Church with the aim of winning souls for Christ;
Assist pastors with an understanding of their ministerial responsibilities to their church, family, and community;
Acquaint each student with the fundamental organization of each of the areas of service (auxiliaries) which support The Church of God in its quest to fulfill Christ’s commission to His bride;
Provide a Scriptural study of the divine institution (The Body of Christ) which was established by Christ during His brief earthly visit and delve into its nature, its work, and its organization;
Church of Prophecy Marker Association
The purpose of the Church of Prophecy Marker Association is to encourage the building, beautifying and maintaining of all Church markers. This includes our local churches, Regional and National Headquarters properties and our General Headquarters properties. It also includes the spiritual maintenance of each member of the Church. We are living markers or testaments of Jesus Christ and we should always be promoting our Lord and Saviour through preaching and teaching the history, purpose and beautiful doctrines of the Word of God.
World Language
The World Language Department aids The Church with a team of translators committed to communicating the full gospel message through Sunday School materials, gospel tracts, and our monthly Church publication—The Arise Shine.
